RAM data capture

OK, so I’m online (cable modem) on MSN’s site playing bejeweled, I lose my connection, and the game continues to perform flawlessly, even after all other windows are closed. New games don’t even phase it. Obviously this data is residing in my RAM (or so I think), is there a way to capture this program instead of just not ever closing that particular window?

Sometimes Shockwave Flash games can be downloaded and kept for later even though they appear to only work online.

(I don’t know if your game is Flash, just offering a possibility).

You have to open your PCs Internet cache and check the files list for the game. You can then copy it to another folder where you can double-click it to play anytime.

On my Windows 2000 PC the cache is here c:\documents and settings\username\local settings emporary internet files

The local settings folder is normally hidden so enable the hidden files view option in tools, folder options first.

After you have copied it out, right click it and use the “open with” menu so you can tell the PC to open it with Internet Explorer from then on.

You won’t have to go online again but IE is needed because Flash only runs there.
