Ramadan

Should we continue the bombing or military campaigns during Ramadan.

If so what will the results be?

What has been done in the past during other Muslim countries at war during Ramadan. (example Iran vs Iraq)

Ramadan

Ramadan didn’t stop us during Operation Desert Storm, I don’t see why it should stop us now.

October 6, 1963-Egypt and Syria attack Israel on Yom Kippur. For non-Jews, Yom Kippur is the Day Of Atonement, a day of fasting, praying, and asking forgiveness for the sins of the past year. It is often called “the holiest day of the Jewish year.”.

If Egypt and Syria formally apologise for attacking Israel on Yom Kippur, and all other Arab countries formally condemn those attacks, then and only then do they have the right to ask us not to continue our attack during Ramadan. Otherwise they’re saying 'It’s fine for us to attack Israel on a Jewish holy day. But, it’s wrong for you to attack an Islamic country on an Islamic holy day."

The issue of what to do during Ramadan is already being discussed in the thread “Should the U.S. pause its attack”. I am locking this thread as a duplicate topic, and please continue this discussion in the previously cited thread.
