“Stay thirsty, my friend.” is one of the catchphrases for the Most Interesting Man in the World, current mascot for Dos Equis beer. The idea being that, if you’re always thirsty, you’ll always have a motivation to buy another Dos Equis.
And the evil Randian version being that it was the poor choices by the dying man that led him to be dying, and he should own up to those poor choices and not try to make the Randian be responsible for slaking his thirst.
Pretty clever, I thought, whether it’s fair to you or not.
