I think you should all have a Dope-fest but with no usernames and no name tags. You meet up in a room at a bar that has been set aside for dopers, you get in by knowing a password that has been published in a thread on the SDMB. Then once you’re in, there’s just a group of people, you don’t know who’s who and have no preconceptions about anyone, you’re forced to take people at face value. Sure some of you will have met before so you’ll be at an advantage.

Hi, I’m Frank.
Maybe I’m just fortunate, but I’ve never met anyone like Rand Rover in real life. So I’ll have to assume that he isn’t really exactly as his persona on these message boards. So if I lived close enough, I might be tempted to just stop by out of curiosity to check it out. Isn’t anyone else curious?
