“What day is it?”
“It’s Thursday, Winslow. Today is Thursday.”
“What day is it?”
“It’s Thursday, Winslow. Today is Thursday.”
You know it don’t matter anyway, and that’s the hell of it.
I know drug real from real real.

If only we were among friends!
There’s no crime in giving yourself over to pleasure, Brad.
Sha la la la, that aint no… crime.
We’re old souls in a new life, baby.
A kiss when I must go
No tears, in time we kiss hello
This post is not in play, but if you know and like “Old Souls,” Atimnie, you may find this interesting:
It's a young lady named Erica Patoka playing "Old Souls" on the piano, and singing the song. I myself like it better than Jessica Harper's version, which is excellent in its own right. But it's not Erica's.A few years ago, I was in Las Vegas, and passing by a piano bar where a young lady was at the keys, I stopped to listen. The piano player was a slight girl, with dark hair and a slim build, very skilled at the piano, and had a soft, gentle voice. Could it be Erica Patoka? I popped in and asked the waitress. No, the piano player’s name wasn’t that, and it wasn’t Jessica Harper either. No matter; it was enough to get me in to enjoy a couple of drinks and some excellent piano-and-vocal music.
“Old Souls” should be a classic. Pity that more people don’t know it.
It’s just a jump to the left…
Old Souls is the best song off the Phantom soundtrack, and if anyone can listen to that song and not get a shiver, they have no soul. Also, a pity Jessica didn’t do more singing in her movies, like Zoeey Deschanel currently does. Phantom and Shock Treatment, did she sing in anything else? Did she even have a full album that wasn’t kids songs?
You look like you’re both pretty groovy.
That’s a rather tender subject. Another slice, anyone?
Janet, they’re obviously foreigners, and this must be one of their national dances.
This isn’t the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Brad!
You see, Winslow–I’m under contract too.
(Jessica Harper seems to have done a number of movies, but I don’t think she sang in any except Phantom and Shock Treatment. Of course, she recorded plenty of music for children, but I don’t see where she recorded anything for adults.)
“You don’t like her, my mother don’t like her, she’s a dog and I’m a fat, ugly man! Well, all I know is I had a good time last night! I’m gonna have a good time tonight! If we have enough good times together, I’m gonna get down on my knees and I’m gonna beg that girl to marry me! If we make a party on New Year’s, I got a date for that party. You don’t like her? That’s too bad!”
I’m not sure if Marty (1955) qualifies as a cult movie, but I like it and recently rewatched it, so there you go.
Dogs like us, we aint such dogs as we think we are.
Damn, that was a good movie.
