Rapex anti rape condom
I imagine that would work as well for male anus protection!
I wonder if screaming “I have hepatitis” or I’m HIV positive–would be a deterrent?!
Well, no, I’m posting in a thread about a vaginal rape-device. Male rape victims didn’t seem all that topical.
where’s Autolycus when you need him? If any man’s gonna try this thing…

Are there any current links about the product(that don’t involve The Onion)?

Well, I guess I’ll just stay out of the discussion, then. I thought perhaps this was a broader topic, not an Amazon.com product review.

I’m sorry I was snarky. I’d love to discuss it if you want to start another thread and link to it here. My nutshell version is that I don’t believe that most male rapes are performed for the same sociological and psychological reasons as female rapes, nor are the victims treated identically by the rest of society afterwards. My statements in this thread therefore only apply to female rape.

I also don’t think one should assume that this device could be worn anally. The anus and the vagina are two very differently shaped and muscled organs with different daily uses, and there are bound to be differences in…uh…insertion and retention.

True, but you have something on your person which will maim, not just protect you from–the unknown.

Kind of like a gun, then, which you can carry.

Chances are-- you WON’T be raped, so to walk around with a f/condom in-with teeth, no less-- just daring someone to penetrate you! Not like you can mace them and run away!..seems more like (pardon the pun) “entrapment” (haha)–because you have to let them (or not be able to stop them from getting) that “close”!
Chances are you won’t be mugged or murdered either, but that doesn’t alter the right to self defense. I’m not sure you know what entrapment is if you think this is in any way, shape or form like it. You are entitled to use reasonable force in self defense. If you are entitled to introduce someone’s brain to 9mm air conditioning, then I don’t think a judge would have any problem with someone’s John Thomas getting mangled in this way.
Unfortunately a woman can cry rape and it’s TRUE no matter if it is or not!–but if you are wearing such a condom, wouldn’t that be like aggravated assault?? You KNOW you are going to hurt them. Before they get to hurt you. CAN you have self defense PRIOR to the act of aggression?
What on earth does this mean? Of course it isn’t true no matter if it is or not - that makes no sense whatsoever. And there is no credible evidence either that women falsely allege rape more than other crimes or that false rape allegations are believed more than other false allegations. In fact, everything I have seen suggests the opposite - lend your boyfriend your car, and go to the police and tell them he took it without your permission and you are far more likely to be believed than telling them that someone with whom you have been in a consensual sexual relationship raped you…

And where is this self defense prior to the act of aggression - the rape occurs (in most jurisdictions) the moment there is non-consensual penetration obtained through use of any degree of force. This condom, whether or not it exists, doesn’t walk down the street and grab people’s knobs out of their pants and sink its teeth into them.

All said, I think it is (a) fake and (b) an incredibly bad idea. But your analysis of it is just wrong.

An anal anti-rape condom (or anti anal-rape condom)? Y’know what you can do with that. :dubious:
