I felt the same way when I got mentioned in a Beyonce song…“Becky with the good hair”! Then I looked up Becky in the urban dictionary. Just my luck!
(I don’t where to put the accent mark in Beyonces name)
The idea’s been used in science fiction for ages – have a look at Arthur C. Clarke’s Watch this Space or Isaac Asimov’s Buy Jupiter, or the suggestions in Robert Heinlein’s The Man who Sold the Moon. That’s the Big Three of science fiction right there.
