Rate the presidents a different way: who was hottest?

Folk are always ranking presidents on stupid stuff like foreign policy or environment progressiveness. But let’s get serious: Which American president was best looking? Oh I know styles have changed, but ignore the ruffled muffs and look at facial features and tell me who was hottest.

I have to admit, to my untutored eye, I’d have to go with our current president, Barak ‘Cutie’ Obama.

My spousal-unit commented on the new ten-dollar bill saying “Who knew that Alexander Hamilton was so cute”.

Hamilton was a looker, but he wasn’t president.

I don’t know. Obama is a good choice, he’s a pretty good-looking guy.

Yeah, I’d have to go with Hussein, too. Not because he’s particularly attractive, but because come on, look at these guys. Although John Tyler kind of had that “creepy, but I might do him if his personality were cool and I were drunk enough” thing going on.

What about Kennedy? He was always referred to as ‘young and handsome’ but I never really saw it.

If we didn’t have the current guy in office, I’d say Kennedy was the hottest, and for the same reason. I don’t see the handsome either, but he’s not in handsome company.

The trouble is that, by the time they get elected, they no longer look so hot. For example, Gerald Ford was pretty good looking at the age of 31 or 32.

You know, young W wasn’t bad looking either. Kinda had a unibrow, but whatever.

Definitely Obama. But I would do Lincoln.

I always thought Kennedy was supposedly the real playboy & the best looking, I mean hell, he was sleeping w/ Marylin Monroe wasn’t he? Then again, power is a great aphrodisiac. I bet even Howard Taft & Millard Fillmore, James Polk & whoever you want to name musta looked pretty hot to someone way back when. Hell, women swooned over Bubba, fer chrissakes.

Franklin Pierce has a sort of Timothy Hutton thing going on in this portrait. FWIW.

Hey, Bubba had* charisma*. So does Obama. So did Kennedy, for that matter. I would do any of those guys- not Kennedy now, of course- I don’t like 'em that stiff.

Reagan, toohell, even in his 50s, he wasn’t half bad looking. (Nor was Nancy.) Going back a ways, Teddy Roosevelt was a fine looking young man, too.

In office, I have to give the nod to Kennedy, with Obama close behind…

He was the spitting image of Kruger, one of George Costanza’s bosses. Even has the slightly mystified expression.

Are we supposed to consider their hotness when they were younger, or when they were president? Because most of them were, like, old men. Kennedy and Obama (the two most frequently mentioned here) happen to be our two youngest presidents, aren’t they?

Oh yeah, thanks for that mental image… :smack:

TR, Bill Clinton, and US Grant were all younger than Obama.

And that’s all I’m going to say about that.

The young Woodrow Wilson wasn’t too difficult to look at.

HEY!!! Don’t confuse me with the facts, dammit!
And… uh… it WAS my spousal-unit’s observation, so take it up with her.

Meanie.
