FTR, I do sculpture. I do 'em fast. I’m stuck with a bit of epoxy putty, after doing what it’s intended for, I have a little piece left. Someone says “make a dog” or “make a chicken”, so I make a dog or a chicken out of it. A damn realistic looking mutt, or bird. And my best piece was a gamboling lamb. Which I did in ceramic clay, and never looked at it, while doing it. I did that shit, without looking at, or even thinking about what I was doing. I also did a lovely hummingbird.
I also have a long line of sculptures of sheep, dogs, birds, cats, plants, etc. where I just make one, they are amazed at the realism, and I hand it to the recipient.
Put up or shut up. Let’s see it.

Who the fuck cares if **Opal **made a living off her art? It was something that was a big part of her life, and now she’s dead at a tragically young age. Arguing that she wasn’t a “real artist” because she didn’t make a proper career out of it is pathetic.
