last night on my way home from work, i was horrified to discover that my neighbors down the block have erected a lighted reindeer-pulling-a-sleigh display in their front yard. the rest of the block’s jack o lanterns aren’t even beginning to get smooshy, and these lunatics have christmas decorations up?
the way i see it, i have two choices:
a) smash their stupid display to send a message that november 1st is not christmas time
- since it is an asian family, perhaps they don’t understand our customs and traditions, and i should inform them of their mistake.
i’m leaning towards option a, but i want to give them the benefit of the doubt since they do live next door to a registered sex offender.
is vandalism an appropriate response to way-too-early holiday decorations?
