This is from the excellent site TheOneRing.net, and I’m sure the board’s other LOTR fans are reading it as we speak. Apparently, other cultures are having trouble understanding the plot of LOTR the movie (especially the pirated copies that many are watching), and now we might have a clue as to why:
I’ve never read LOTR, so I don’t get all the jokes, but I like “A hoppit.” and “Do not take me for some cauldron cheap tricks.” I don’t think it’s real, but it sure is funny.
