It isn’t the powers that be; it is the people with the money. The moderators and administrators are not at fault here. If they could fix it, they would, because it is even more irritating for them.
I know what you mean though; I am getting tired of this place malfunctioning so much, a place that has been run for almost as long as I have been alive so it should be very stable.

I am seriously hoping that the fact that it is happening so often these days is a sign that the board is about to crash and burn. NOT because I want it to go away - I WANT it back as a fully functional system. I just figure that it will require that the board become completely non-functional before it is repaired.
If that happened, I would be seriously surprised if anyone bothered to resurrect it.

Just got it for the first time in a few days. I wish I could see some kind of pattern to it but there is none; it’s just random.
Indeed. I’ve given up trying to figure out if anything in particular is triggering it.

It would be good if we could get some sort of update about what steps are being taken to investigate this problem. Are they still looking into it, and if so, what’s happening?
