I’m not even watching yet, but did you watch this whole season? While they all are way pissed at her, she’s gone psycho to the nth degree against them. I think she’s trying to play it cool like she’s the victim (from the previews), but the reality is that she is so psycho that her own small daughters have been shown on camera begging her to stop stalking the Manzos.
I watched all of the first season and some of this past season, but quite frankly I didn’t find the “Danielle versus everyone else” plot line very entertaining at all. After Dina left (the only bearable one on the show, besides maybe Caroline) I stopped watching. I don’t think she is “psycho”, it’s obvious she has a great deal of issues and she did have some bizarre paranoia regarding the Manzos. On the other hand, I’m not quite sure what she actually did to the other ladies to make them hate her with such a passion.
Okay, I’m watching now. Holy shit they didn’t take long to start bitching at each other. I am impressed.
Just started watching, and I pretty much agree. They’re all creepy in their own ways. Danielle’s really scary, but then so are the Manzos and Teresa. Danielle does creepy shit and then instead of trying to just cut her out of their life, the others make a huge thing out of it.
If they were smarter, they’d react calmly and Danielle would look creepy. Teresa, for example, though, makes herself look even worse by reacting to Danielle by just escalating. Screaming at her or flipping tables or swearing. There’s really no one to root for.
What was all that about Teresa not acknowledging her nephew? Did they mean Jacqueline’s kid, Nicholas (even though Teresa isn’t biologically the aunt, she is a family friend) or some other kid? And why was Teresa so pissed?
I have no idea, but it starts here in 30 mins and you’ve got me fucking stoked.
I’m watching it again for some reason. Does anyone else do that–watch them over and over? It’s not great TV, and I know what’s going to happen. And it’s not deep. It’s not like watching the Sopranos or Mad Men over to catch bits that I missed. I can’t justify it and yet I’m transfixed.
It’s just starting here. Yay!
And you know, I’ve watched every season of every housewives show except OC like 100 times, so I’m not judging

Honestly, I don’t know if it’s necessarily their fake tans- I think the whole set is lit sort of orange (if you look at the background, it’s orange, too!). Even Andy looks orange and he usually doesn’t.
Theresa really didn’t wait, did she? Hot damn. Caroline looks fab, no? She looks older with the weight loss, but she looks nice. I also like her hair fluffier than before, when it was a little more gelled and flat.
I rather like Danielle’s hair color, too.
I really liked Teresa’s dress.
That was some cray cray shit. Looking forward to part 2. I’ll be disappointed if no one at least gets slapped.
Agreed. Next week should be fun. I was hoping they’d go farther with Teresa’s debt. She just said she wasn’t that much in debt and Andy kind of let it go…
Diosa, now that you’ve seen, do you know what was up with Teresa’s reaction to Danielle bringing up her “nephew”? No one seems to but some on IMDb are speculating that it’s some kind of reference to an illegitimate child of Joe’s? No idea.
Was Teresa saying, “Do not bring up my family” or “Do not break up my family”? The latter would make sense if it was some kind of illegitimate child thing…
Theresa Tweeted earlier (DON’T JUDGE ME!) that her blog on Bravo for this week will address that. I really have no idea what the hell is going on, so that’ll be an interesting read. Actually, their blogs are all pretty interesting to read, save for Danielle’s, because hers is completely delusional ridiculousness.
Theresa is that girl. We all know that girl. You know, the loud mouthed, not so bright girl who is an overall nice person, but has no social graces whatsoever and no filter. That girl who thinks that because we (the group) dislike someone or talk about them when no one is around, that we’ll support her when she flies off the handle. That girl who can’t discern between: this girl is a bitch and we hate her so let’s gossip and ignore her…and this girl is a bitch and we hate her so let’s ruin her life Mean Girls style.
And naturally, Theresa lived up to that last night by being so over the top ridiculous in her attacks of Danielle. Don’t get me wrong, Danielle is a disgusting person, but FFS, that stands on its own, no need to lose your shit. Makes good TV, though.
Oh, speaking of which, I heard the Bravo ladies get bonuses if they bring the drama to reunion shows. . .
Explanation that she gives:
Not really buying it. If Danielle was looking for dirt, why would she bring up the birth of a nephew? The way she said it, you could tell she was trying to provoke a reaction. And Teresa’s reaction was way out of proportion for it to just be her actual nephew.
ETA: But I do think you’re right about them being paid to bring the drama. Remember New York, when it felt every ten minutes someone was getting off the couch?
Because she’s crazy and pretty dim. I’d believe it. Plus, just about anything she says at this point would set Theresa off like that- “I like your bangs, puh-leeze!” “OMG YOU PROSTITUTION WHORE-AAAAAH, DON’T YOU TALK ABOUT MY BANGS, ALRIGHT? DON’T YOU DARE MENTION MY BANGS I DON’T WANT TO HEAR MY BANGS COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH YOU POLE DANCING SKANK!!!”
True. She would. But if Teresa tweeted about this and it’s fairly common knowledge, why does it mean that Danielle was rooting around in her past? Or maybe it’s just Teresa and I shouldn’t treat her as a rational human…
Did you notice that Caroline said something like, “If you were like this all the time we wouldn’t be friends”? Which I interpreted as her telling us that Teresa isn’t always like this, really, just around Danielle. But at the same time, it seems like she may be souring on Teresa just a bit. She didn’t seem to have fun on the vacation, and considering how wary she is of strangers, I’m surprised that Teresa and Joe pass muster.

Honestly, Theresa seems like a nice woman deep down, but she is not smart. People that aren’t very intelligent tend to misunderstand things and flip out at the drop of a hat. I think that’s her situation.
All of the women (and men, actually) have said in response to Theresa’s freak out and table flip last season that it was totally out of character for her- they all said they’ve never seen anything like that from her before. So, I think she’s finally just found someone that really pisses her off and blam- freaking out needlessly.
I think Caroline and Albert do like Theresa and her kids, but they are just a little older and are beyond the chasing little ones around a foreign place sort of stage- hence their frustration. Plus, Theresa’s kid are bratty, whereas it seems like Caroline and Albert were pretty hard ass parents when their kids were that age. Still, I think they’ve got a soft spot for parents of little ones, since they are such big family folks.
She’s definitely not bright but I’d also classify her as very selfish. Going into debt for $11 million and then splurging on a shopping spree–I don’t see her as all that different than a common thief.
Plus with Danielle leaving and all, there’s not going to be a lot of conflict going on…unless maybe a new little feud is introduced. I can see the Manzos starting to turn on Teresa and Joe a little bit.
They’re showing the rerun of the reunion right now again, and I’m watching. Again. What’s the matter with me?!
