Anyway, I’ve recently fallen in love with this comic strip called Boy Meets Boy. It’s well-drawn, quite long-running for an indie web strip, very funny, and filled with lots of cute boys.
You are both evil. Pure evil. But you have good taste. I clicked on the first link.
“Ok, wow, this is cute. I wonder what the first strip in the series looked like? Ok, what about the next? And the next?” And then I couldn’t stop. I kept reading them until I had read every single one!. The phone rang. I ignored it. Someone knocked on the door. Did I hear? No. I was too busy marveling over the cuteness that is Harley, and the sweetness that is Mik.
But finally I pulled myself away. “Wow, that was a good call!”, I thought. “I should go respond to the thread. Let other people know how cool BMB is!”
So I go to respond and I see… “What’s this? Another link? Well, it’s probably safe to click. It can’t be as good as the first.” I was wrong. God playing with hand puppets… beatnic poetry… commercials about pimps! It was just as addictive. So again, I was forced to read and read and read. I tried to stop. I really did. Ok, I didn’t.
And after all this reading and laughing, I have just one question…
I HAD to read all the back issues last night, and by the time I was finished (and all twitchy with images of gay cartoon lovin’), it was nearly one in the morning and Mrs. Chef was asleep. Arrrrrrrrgh!
Hehe…Sue, my dear, welcome to the wonderful world of Skids/Cyanide relationshippers! There’s a bunch of us who are firmly convinced that with just a little encouragement (which the adorable but oblivious Skids DiAngelo is unlikely to even realize is needed), Senor Torres would be nekkid faster than you can say “shibby…”
For those particularly enamored of BmB, I suggest checking out the Posting Board (unofficially called the Closet)(link’s right above the strip). Lots and lots of fanart, discussion, fanart, community, fanart, and nekkid hot-lovin’ Cy/Skids fanart. Also, check the Galleries (both Sandra’s own and the fanart one).
