Really Weird Ramen Flavors

All the Koreans you know eat it all the time…and reheat it in the Break Room Mocrowave in MY office.

Kimchee and frikkin popcorn. ugh!

Um. Mocrowave was NOT some kind of attempt at an ethnic accent based slur…It’s just my big white Gaijin fingers at work here.

Aha! That’s what it was! Now that I think of it, it probably wasn’t habanero. It would be too damn hot to eat.

I have here a Japanese package of Nissin ramen. It says “Salt - 2.6 g total (noodle and vegetable packet 1.1g) (soup 1.5g)”.

How much curry powder would I use on a standard brick of noodles if I wanted to make curry-flavored Ramen?

Wasn’t there another thread that explained that ‘ramen’ is a Japanese pronounciation of ‘lo mein’ ? If that was right, then Kirin makes a chow mein flavored lo mein? That’s odd enough that I’ll have to find some and try it.

You’re a brave, brave man. I saw “Fettucine Alfredo,” and “Creamy Nacho Cheese”-flavored cups of Cup O’ Noodles at the store and was intrigued, but I never dared try them.
