Really? What Was Your First Clue? (Not Really Mundane, Just Pointless)

This story is pretty tragic, and I understand how the woman quoted could come to say what she did for the article, but…
When you’re discussing the relationship between your late son, and his wife, after she’s been arraigned for the murder of your son, and having painted accusations of sexual peccadilloes on the driveway, there’s something surreal about hearing the comment: "“They had a troubled relationship.”

Wow. That’s bizarre. “Troubled relationship,” eh?

I feel for the kids. That’s pretty young to essentially lose both parents.

So, I clicked the link, and my first thought was “Wow, she looks just like Humpty Dumpty!”

My second thought was “I am going to Shallow Person Hell for that.”

And yeah, the “troubled relationship” may be a teensy bit of an understatement. Between the kids and the animals, this one has left a fair bit of chaos behind it; here’s hoping that all of the above get good homes and stable situations in the near future.

Humpty Dumpty! I had to go back and check, and you’re right! Hysterical.

It’s weird that the mom just said they had a troubled relationship, but I thought the neighbor’s story was even weirder.

If I was interviewed about the death of my neighbor, I don’t know that I would recall a turtle story from five years ago as the most important thing to tell the newspaper reporter?
