OK, I’ve asked Manus to give me the syntax to create a game. Here’s hoping he responds in time…
8PM tomorrow. Bear in mind I’ll only be good for so long. I get up at 5AM on workdays.

Manus says you must include the code rule REAL_TIME to run at the interval we want.

It having just occured to me that:
A) We’re starting at 8PM
B) Each year should take 45 minutes
C) An average game lasts until 1912 or so
That means we’ll end up at about 5AM or so.
That might well take me out, gentlemen. Maybe we should re-think this.
especially when you consider that 5AM your time is what, 11AM mine?

I’m certainly ameniable to playing over a couple of nights, can you do that with the online software JC? If not, then we’re back to changing the day.
I’m amenable to staying the entire night doing it.
I’ll be gone over the weekend, so consecutive days wouldn’t really work for me.
An alternative would be starting early on a weekend day. Or we could go with 10 minute turns to cut the time down.
I’m pretty sure the GM of a game can change deadlines and stuff so that we could give ourselves one 20-hour turn in the middle or whatever it would have to be. But I don’t know if that’s possible the way this game will be set up – I seem to recall that a person can’t be both a GM and a player. I guess we could trick it with a fake GM persona but that wouldn’t seem cricket.
I’m still in play over this. I sure can’t stay up that late.
I would love to play if it could be set up in, say 5 hour increments over two consecutive Fridays (or Saturdays)
Well, this is easy enough to solve- we’ll play for as long as practical, and pick it up later if we need to.
