As a newcomer here, I have also discovered that there is a ‘clique’ of self-righteous people here who make it their life’s work to chastise, ridicule, accuse and berate anyone who doesn’t explicitly agree with them or use code the way they think one should.
The SDMB is not at all the open minded place I had thought it would be. By the way, I can’t spell worth shit, so I write my messages out on my e-mail form, correct them, then copy and paste to the board – mostly. Oh, yeah. It’s also far easier to understand well spelt (and well thought out) messages. Thank you for doing that in your posting.
I know this board is keen on accuracy, so will challenge unsupported statements etc. (like ‘teenagers can’t spell’). This can come as a shock to people who have lower standards, but treat it as a learning experience and I’m sure you’ll benefit (I know I did).

Just so you can’t say that no one was polite to you, let me try to give you a serious answer to your question. LemonGrl gave you a similar answer on your first thread.
There’s nothing you can do to keep your girlfriend if she really prefers the company of her friends in the National Honor Society. If you order her to quit hanging around with them, only two things can happen. Either she’ll dump you immediately, or, if she quits seeing them, she’ll eventually grow to hate your interference with her friendships. Eventually she’ll dump you anyway.
You have to learn to accept that your girlfriend had friends that have nothing to do with you. You don’t own her. You should be glad for whatever part of her time she chooses to spend with you.
That is the closest to a polite answer you’re ever going to get on this board.
