recipe software

I am looking for a program in which I can input my grandfathers drink/bar recipes. I thought of a cookbook program but these all have recipes already in them and I would like a blank one. Does anyone know where I can get info on this or how to make such a program. Thanks
Karyn

Maybe I’m missing something here, but why is special software needed? I have most of my recipies on plain ole’ MS Word documents. Word automatically arranges them alphabetically so they’re easy to find as long as you know what it is you want to cook (or drink, in your case). If you need fancy-schmancy tricks like being able to sort by ingredients or something, then you might have to graduate from Word to Excel, but I still wouldn’t consider that to be “special” software.

The only reason I can think of for wanting specially made software is if you want extra bells & whistles like a GUI that looks like a card file, with recipies on index cards that do neat-o page flips & have little animated helpers. Then I might suggest checking Download.com to see what they have. Here is what I found.

You could also build your own database with MS Access. Using the Access add ons that can be downloaded you can create stand alone EXE files after the database has been compiled.
