If you feel like sharing, I’m interested to know what organs or tissue you received and whether or not you sent a thank you note to the family of the donor. Or, are you the family member of an organ donor who has received thank you notes? Do you like that?
I received a patellar tendon from a cadaver to replace my ACL. I was given the information to write a thank you note but never got around to writing it. Thanking people for their family members being organ donors seems a little awkward to me.
