Recommend a backup camera for an RV

We have a 22 foot Class C motorhome. The center rear-view mirror is all but useless. It also has a backup camera, which isn’t much better - things look a lot further away than they really are. We’re looking into buying a rear camera mirror.

Do any of the resident RV enthusiasts here have any recommendations? I’m not really sure what I’m looking at on Amazon. I’m mainly looking for something that will act like a rear-view mirror when driving, and also function as a backup cam. I’m also concerned about the installation. I don’t want to have to tear the dashboard (or other parts of the RV) apart, nor do I want to have to pay someone several hundred dollars to install it.

When I have a kind of specific question about vehicular things, I find that in searching out online forums specific to that interest, in your case RV forums, you will likely find the question has been asked and answered and fought about enough to provide hours of good reading and very useful information. It will give better answers than Amazon reviews, certainly.

I understand Facebook has groups of people with similar interests as well, though I don’t use it much.
