Recommend a good book biography of Howard Hughes?

You need to be more clear about exactly what aspects of his life interest you. Otherwise:

Makes sense. I’m looking for a good, objective account of his life and contributions, especially to aviation and stealthy projects. I’ll read that info in the link you provided, thanks.

More: I’ll add philanthropy to that list of contributions.

I’ve enjoyed these two.
This was written by Noah Dietrich, Hughes’ right-hand man for a number of years. It details Hughes’ rise and early years.

This one is by a separate author and focuses on the second, reclusive part of his life, including his death.

They may or may not be exactly what you’re looking for, but to me, they form a fairly complete story of the man’s life.

Thanks for that, but those are pretty old, from 1976 the year he died. They won’t contain info found after he died. Also, I’m looking for just one basic but good book about him.
