My business partner spends a lot of time on the phone (so I don’t have to, thank God!) and makes use of an earpiece while in his office. As far as I know he is not one of those cyborg cell phone dudes while walking down the street 
Anyway, he says that on long calls, especially conference calls, his ear really starts to hurt. He is thinking about getting a headphone set instead of a single ear piece. I said I’d ask the Teeming Millions if anyone has any recommendations.
His phone is the Verizon XV6800 and it has BlueTooth.
