Can anyone recommend a software package that records DVD audio to mp3.
I wanted to burn a CD for my sister’s birthday that includes her favorite songs mixed with some lines from her favorite movies.
I prefer store bought software as opposed to downloadable net/share/free ware.
Any suggestions you can provide this very green & wet behind the ears digital recrding wannabe would be very appreciated.
Thanks
If you’re just looking to get a few lines of dialogue in between songs, I would make (or download ready-made) .wav clips.
From what I’ve seen, programs that rip the audio track off a DVD will only rip the audio from an entire chapter of that DVD. You’ll have some editing ahead of you if you want to isolate a few lines of dialogue.
To rip .wav files, I use Music Match. I set the ‘record source’ to ‘Line In’, and plug a cabe from my VCR to the ‘Line In’ on my computer. You can then record at will from the incoming audio feed. I have never tried this with DVDs, perhaps somebody else could give a better method for DVDs?
