Thinking of buying a Toto Washlet toilet seat for my wife for our upcoming anniversary. She really liked these during our trip to Japan a couple of years ago, and she’s talked in the past about wanting one for our house. It’s a pricy item that I would need to discuss with her before buying, but before I even do that, I’m curious to hear recommendations from current owners/users.
Anyone want to recommend a particular model? Tell me to avoid a particular model? Favorite/least-favorite features?
I used the one in the first class lounge at Shanghai (Pudong) and I found it very intimidating. Sort of a bidet on steroids but a little weird because from a bidet point of view, it’s backward. Thought I was on the space shuttle. Like a good tourist I took a photo but don’t remember the model number.
Just go freshy fresh and save a bundle.
We have a model E200, and we like it so well we’re putting another one in the 2nd bathroom. I like the fact that the remote sits on the wall, but you can also take it off if necessary (mostly I do this if I want to change the adjustments, so not very often).
I think of this as a middle-of-the-road model, so it’s all a matter of what features you need and what you can do without. We didn’t need or want any of the extra features on the higher-end models.
No women in our household, but women visitors have used it and seem to like it (for the record, most of them were already used to these kinds of things).
