I have an mpg file that I need to extract about 20 seconds to create a new mpg file. It would be great if I can apply some effects like slow motion to stretch into a longer run time. Does anyone have any recommendations? I wouldn’t mind paying for it so it doesn’t have to be free. I’ve searched for one but all the websites but I can’t tell the real ones from malware.
Do you have Windows Movie Maker? You can download it for free. Make sure you are downloading from Microsoft of course.
Import the file, add cut points before and after your 20 second part, delete the part before and the part after. Search Google for how to add slow-mo. Bobs yer uncle.
I do not have Windows Movie Maker on my Windows 7 but I do remember it. I’ll download it and give it a try. Thanks!
