My son is starting a residential care facility and is an S Corp. He needs software to keep the books, payroll, and to prepare his F1120s and K-1’s. Is there a software package that anyone has experience with that does all that? I read some reviews on amazon about quickbooks which someone recommended a while back, but most didn’t like the problems they had and the constant need to pay for updates. But, there might not be anything better available. Also, it doesn’t say precisely what quickbooks does e.g. if it includes all of the above. Does it?
It would be nice if there is someone on the boards that actually runs a service business s corp with employees and can tell me what they use.
