My contract is coming to a close and there are a couple of things I really don’t like about my current phone.
One is that managing the contact list is a pain. Adding and deleting phone numbers is absurdly difficult. It’s also not terribly sturdy.
It’s a little Motorola clamshell model that was free the last time I extended my contract. I’m a Cingular customer and haven’t really had any problems with them, so I’m not planning to change.
What I’m looking for:

[li]Basic phone - don’t care about frills[/li][li]Small clamshell model that will fit in my pocket [/li][li]Pretty sturdy - I carry it around on me all the time[/li][li]Good sound quality[/li][/ul]
Moto has not changed their software as of yet , the q might cause its running a stripped down version of WinCe but some of the moto v3 razors that I have seen have not been any different from my v551.
Its either clams or candy bars , your local cell phone provider should have a number of models out, plus check out walmart, they have a cell phone section now with a variety of models.
Basic and good sound quality , not sure your gonna get a happy medium.
I personally find that Nokia has the easiest to use interface. I was forced to switch to a motorola for a year for work reasons and really did not like it at all. So my vote would be for a Nokia.
