Almost exactly how long I lasted. I liked the leads, liked the concept some, but the execution wasn’t very original and Urban Fantasy is too heavy on the formula romance. I’ve read some of maybe five different UF series and in four of them the supernatural hero(ine) has an on-again off-again romance with someone in law enforcement, just the like the show.
Thanks for the suggestions… I think I am good until 2020…
Survivors - Series about UK survivors of a plague that killed most people. It’s not a sci-fi show, it does get more about drama than survival in places but I loved the setting, characters, and plot.
Also if you like comedy I will second/third/fourth the recommendation for Archer and The IT Crowd. Both are hilarious.
Luther will have more than two seasons. The third one will air some time this year.
not onstreaming: “due south”.
on streaming: “firefly”.
Freaks and Geeks, The Big C, Weeds, Workaholics, The Riches, Archer and Ugly Betty.
I’m rewatching “Cheers” right now.
I recommend:
“Damages”
“Bramwell”
“24” (first season)
“Downton Abbey”
The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret.
News release about four hours ago: Netflix Signs Deal for Warner Brothers, Turner Broadcasting Content - DailyFinance. I have not read it. My interest lie elsewhere.
Netflix streaming just added The West Wing if you haven’t seen it.
Doctor Who.
Then, when you’re through with that…
Rewatch all the Doctor Who episodes.
Repeat.
Don’t look away, and don’t blink. Good luck.
I also watched Hyperdrive about a year and a half back or so. I thought it was pretty funny, though not a spectacular show.
We just rewatched that episode! Fantastic. And if you’re going to have an episode with very little of the actual Doctor in it, it sure doesn’t hurt to have Carey Mulligan take over for an hour.
