I’ve just recently begun producing 30-sec commercials for local television.
Any experienced digital video types feel like offering their opinions on finding a relatively inexpensive, portable digital audio recorder for voiceovers?
I’m debating just trying out a mid-price cassette recorder (and dumping the audio to CDR-DA for transfer to Premiere) and getting a digital audio recorder. I’ve seen some reasonable (used) prices on the Olympus Model DW-90.
This would only be for voiceovers, not music, but these ads will be aired on cable television, so a modicum of quality is desired.
If you’ve read this far, you must really want to share your thoughts. Go nuts…
