Aren’t Australians fascinating? (Part one)

Is this sort of thing unknown in the U.S? Or is it the reason that U.S. footballers wear long pants?

If this link doesn’t work Spoofe Bo Diddly will fix it.

      • Before traveling to Tongo, maybe one should investigate what passes for an acceptable physical greeting there.

  • "Hopoate maintained he did nothing wrong in administering the wedgies and went on to say: “I’m a great believer in what happens on the field should stay there --and I’ve got some Tom of Finland books and a lot of Foster’s back at the hotel, if any of you boys would like to come and see and talk about all this.” - MC

Many great quotes.
Possibly the best:

“I know it’s a tough game, but there’s no room for that.”

Those crazy Aussies…

“Tigers coach Terry Lamb, who has played 349 first grade games, said it was resonably common to be touched in the region of the testicles.”

A player who does this deliberately is known as a squirrel-gripper. (think bag of nuts)

The Hopoate incident is pretty sad because his team and coach had known for a month that he was doing this and had failed to discourage him. He’ll never play again. I doubt league can survive too many more stories like this. The sport is in deep trouble what with the Murdoch/ Packer debacle, the professionalisation of Union and of course the fact that the Victorian game of AFL is a far superior spectacle.

His picture is going to be used on posters to encourage men to get prostate examinations.

Vinny Jones and Paul Gascoigne really love each other is another well-known example of superb sportsmanship.

Women’s sport could benefit from this. A lot more men would be attracted to women’s basketball, for instance, if they could see something that’s usually only available on adult videos.

Are the opposing players sure that was his finger he was sticking up their asses?

A girl I know said that the move is quite common among boys at her school while playing sports (btw, the school is in Melbourne). Only they called it a donut.
