Preparation H is for the treatment of hemmoroids (sp?), not constipation. If you will look at the list of active ingredients on a box of suppositories, you will see that the only active ingredient is glycerine. Body heat melts the glycerine suppository, the intestine and colon as well as the projectile are lubricated, and then it’s bombs away. There is a phenomenon known as explosive diarrhea in which it is possible for the afflicted to hit a bull’s eye at twenty feet. Bet you didn’t know you were sitting on a time bomb, did you?
