DNS issues intermittently all day today (Friday).
You may want to check with whoever is our hosting service – I’ve heard that DDOS attacks on sites without fulltime staff monitoring them have been happening quite a lot lately.

It may have been a significant problem for you, but that’s still not a reason to take the entire board down, as Anonymous User suggested. Do you think because it’s not working for you we should take it down for everyone? 
For me, there wouldn’t have been a difference, since it was behaving as if totally down for five hours or so anyway. 
Apparently there are some server issues that are still not resolved today.
No new news to tell you. When we do know something, we’ll let you know.

Not really. They had to take it down to do the database management. That’s a different situation from taking it down because some people had connectivity problems.
