Red Velvet Mary Janes

Okay, to settle a debate I’m having with my roommate laurelann , anyone out there in doper land own a pair of these? She thinks she’s the only one with this nifty shoes. Is she right?

No. I almost bought a pair of burgundy smooth leather Mary Janes, but they were out of my side. This is a rather rare shoe, I must say.

SIZE! They were out of my SIZE! Kee-rist.

I have two pairs of mary janes, in black leather and rich brown. Doc’s all the way. We’ll ignore the fact that I can’t wear many other brands.

I used to own a pair, but my feet grew. They were incredibly cute, and they had a little purple flower embroidered on the strap. So no, she’s not the only one.

I wish I had a pair of red velvet Mary Janes! I have two pairs of red Mary Janes, one suede and the other kid, but no velvet. Happy feet! Where did she get them?

I had some red patent leather ones when I was a kid, but that was back in the good ol’ days when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and the wheel hadn’t been invented. (IE, 1960’s)

I have a pair!! Oh wait. I’m your roommate.
Anyway, I got them from Hot Topic for $15 back in January. They are ridiculously cute.

anyway, I said that I was the “only one” because she was reading the “are you wearing Valentine’s Day socks?” thread on IMHO, and she saw my post and was like “Oh, look, this person has your shoes!! …oh wait, it’s you.”

Yes, but does anyone else own a pair of red velvet 8-hole Doc Marten boots like I do? I think they don’t even make these anymore, at least not advertised on the website.

I know someone with purple ones, not idea what size.

Oh, and laurelann, did they have any other colors? I have about worn my black Chinese Mary Jane slippers out.

I never wear red, being a redhead, but I am all about the velvet mary janes. I just can never find the cool green ones in my size.

I like to pretend I’m a leprechaun.

So far no one has had RED VELVET mary janes except laurelann. I’m sure lots of people have mary janes. So she IS the only one, so far. Just thought I’d point that out.

Briefly looking on-line, I found red velvet, red suede, red silk, and red satin mary janes for sale.
