I’m working on a project and need a Caribbean-inspired color scheme. Would a red, yellow and green palette be appropriate, or is it derived from African culture?
“African culture” isn’t very specific. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan-African_colours. I suspect the Caribbean nations with similar national colors are making a nod to the historical and cultural ties to large chunks of Africa.
