Reeder: the liberal december

Well, Republicans have been obsessed with Clinton’s pants for far longer

Of course, this just feeds my growing sense that Bush is toast come November of next year.

Brutus needs help to see the debate. His thought process is that “If Bush said it must true and right and indisputable, and glowing with God’s holy goodness. There can be no debate.”. To the rest of us, we see that even a single sentence quote in GD from a politiician is debatable, since we are not blinded by idealogy.

Maybe instead of posting new threads on a daily basis that aren’t much more than links to other stories, he could do so on a less-frequent basis.

Maybe he could become a Weekly Reeder!

Decemember.

Now, let’s see, is that 1/10 of a member, ten members?

Could have meant decimember.

Could have meant decamember. 10 members. As in “couldn’t possibly have gotten that silly just playing with one”.

Oh, come on. Weaseling is what seperates man from the lower animals. Except for the weasels, of course.

Wow, a record for wrong statements in a row.

  1. Bush may be a lot of things, but his approval ratings within the U.S. are still pretty good. Maybe you meant outside of the U.S.?

  2. december gets piled on for what he posts and how he cites at times. There is no “vast liberal conspiracy” in the media or on this board against [d]december**. See the nice OP december did on Reilly for example.

  3. Reeder doesn’t get Pitted because he posts anti-Bush stuff. Oh the vast liberal conspiracy at work again. Well, he is now- lots. Plus every WMD thread has and plenty of administration apologists in there slinging mud. Guess they missed the memo on free passes for Bush-bashers. Some of them are here now- maybe you could let them know the rules.

Is there any situation in which a Simpsons quote is not appropriate?

Actually, the comp-time thread is getting interesting. On the surface the bill seems very innocous and fairly implemented(I found a house comittee summary and cited it). Assertions have come up that employers who choose to offer comp time are now using taict pressure to ensure the employees take the comp time instead of the extra cash from overtime. The threat of being terminated seems to be the major pressure method. It is getting interesting, but yea, Reeder’s presentation of the issue(and the article he cited) seemed more partisan than balanced.

Still think he’s got a LONG way to go before he even bats in the minors compared to december.

Enjoy,
Steven

No. And there never will be.

What are you, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness”? ( Since you like quotes so much, there’s one for you, John.)

Here’s a tip: “documenting all the lies and deceits” works better if you actually do it, rather than simple posting a link to someone else documenting all the “lies and deceits”.

What, never?

So, are you saying we can’t use the media as sources for debates? We have to personally break the story ourselves?

NEVER.

Okay NOW he’s getting there

What never? Hardly ever…

psst, Guin, didja read the OP???

I said NEVER!

Not true, but the interns dress is an entirely different matter.
