Ah, treis, now you’ve done it! You’ve disturbed the Brotherhood of Bush Bashers**[sup]TM**[/sup] and disrupted their normal feeding patterns.
Thing you don’t understand, tres, is that their intellectual superiority gives them the RIGHT to proclaim that those who don’t agree with them are stupid. No mere proclamation this: They are superior. If you don’t think so, just ask any one of them.
Bullshit. He started a pit thread because *Reeder rolled his eyes at him. The OP is the one who is “disrupted” and whiny. It’s his thread. No one pitted him, did they? So how are the Bush bashers “disrupted?” The OP’s complaint isn’t even political.
I didn’t watch or read the apology, don’t intend to, and thus have no idea of the context. In the unlikely event that this “issue” turns out to be something other than another nit-pick on the part of the BoBB I’ll pick up on it at that time.
Meanwhile, I’m in the process of deciding which candidate to vote for in November. I’m not very impressed with the partisans of either side when the best they can do is expound on mis-spoken words or blow trivial actions up all out of proportion.
I’ll paraphrase Ronnie’s Question: Four years from now, will I be better off after a Bush term or a Kerry term?
Right now, I’m better off than I was before Bush went into office. OTOH, I’m not all that thrilled with some of the things he’s done.
How will I be better off after four years of Kerry? Better pay and benefits? Lower taxes? Less federal deficit? Only mild inflation? Those things are more important to me than opinions of what should/shouldn’t have been said to the King of Jordan.
Doggy Knees: Lighten up, Dude. Don’t you want to live long enough to vote?
"So how are the Bush bashers “disrupted?”
Answer: You are here, bashing treis instead of somewhere else bashing Bush. Thus you’ve been disrupted from your normal feeding patterns.
