Refurbished laptop for my kid

My old work laptop had too little HDD space, aproximately 300GB, so I just restored the whole thing back to factory settings and are now looking for software that would be cool for my kid to play around and do some learning. She’s 5.

Any suggestions?

Well, I grew up with JumpStart and Cluefinders as educational software. But that was in the late 90s/early 00s. I don’t know if you can still get them as physical CDs or if you can only do it online. I still wish I’d finished JumpStart 3rd grade.

What about these guys? http://www.magicdesktop.com/

I remember them being around in the 00’s but I didn’t have kids then.

Moved Cafe Society --> IMHO.

What is that, I can’t seem to find it in google. You have a link I can check?

EDIT: haha, nevermind, you moved this topic to a different category :smiley:

My kids liked the iSpy games and Blues Clues. I think we had some Jump Start as well.

I’ve tried the software in the meantime. It includes a safe browser for kids with a directory of websites, and all of these are listed there. Considering that it already includes learning apps, as well as these websites, I think I have pretty much everything I need with this software. Thanks for the help anyway, everyone!
