Is there a specific reason that the tl/dr registration agreement rules were just reposted? I assume it was just a bit of housekeeping, but is there something more to it?
That’s quite an impressive word count for three posts.
The formatting of the FAQ was totally borked in the conversion to Discourse. There was also a lot of outdated information in it that no longer applied since we no longer use vBulletin, along with a lot of broken links.
Also, I have been handling name changes and registration issues, so I updated the contact information for those type of issues from TubaDiva to my own contact info. (Note - I’m still a mod, not an admin, we just have different permissions in Discourse than vBulletin)
If anyone notices anything that still needs to be fixed, please let me know.
Thanks for taking up the slack. That’s quite a big hole left by TubaDiva.
TubaDiva did a lot of stuff behind the scenes, probably a lot more than most folks around here realize. Ed has returned to handle all of the admin stuff, so a big thanks needs to go to him for that.
I’m just helping out where I can.
You’ve been great, @engineer_comp_geek. Thanks for your work.
Huh, that’s weird, when I typed the “@” and a letter or two, it offered me lots of suggestions, but not your name, when I had a lot of the letters right.
So happy the behind the scenes stuff is being handled.
I love this place.
Thanks to @ed_zotti
On this page, as well as others, at the very bottom there are the Quick Links. One of them is for sending email to TubaDiva. I assume no one else has access to this email account.
Thanks. I have let our admin know. I don’t have the permissions necessary to edit that myself.
