regret buying

If you are cooking rice such as sticky rice or brown rice, you’ll probably need to soak it for a while before turning the cooker on.

I loved it and would take it if I hadn’t already bought it. No regrets on my side

I hate that film and your the first person ever to agree (this seems to be a minority view), so thanks for sharing. Luckily I didn’t buy it, but you have my sympathy.

I spent quite a lot of money on a new phone charger because I left mine at my parents’ over Christmas. I can’t live or work without my phone so this was urgent, but I’ve just found out that another shop would have given me a free recharge to tide me over till my original charger arrived in the mail. I’m quite hard up too. :smack:

iPod Touch, because it cost the same as an iPhone (not taking contracts into account, but I’m already and AT&T customer), and it hooked my like cocaine and made me buy an iPhone only three months later.

Windows Vista, because it was an annoying P.O.S. intended for stupid people who don’t know what they’re doing. I’ve heard that 7 is better in that respect, so I may give it a try.

A new kitchen, because in the end, all I really needed was a really, really good knife. (Although, I do like the kitchen.)

That fake Monet. That was $1.2 million dollars down the drain.*
*(Just kidding on the last one.)

Wow, I love In Bruges with a passion. Each to their own, though.

I sat on my Garmin Muvi and broke the screen. The cost of replacement is more than the cost of a new SatNav, so I bought the ViaMichelin 980T because I like the travel site, like the idea of integrating its functions with my SatNav, and it has a European focus. And it was slightly cheaper than an equivalent Garmin product.

Piece. Of. Shit.

It has the least intuitive interface of anything I’ve ever seen (e.g. I want to save an address. I save it to “favourites” and it disappears - and “favourites” is buried about three screens down and is only accessible when already in navigation mode) and a manual that doesn’t actually describe the same interface, nor the same hardware. The traffic antenna doesn’t plug into the port that the manual says it does, and the software wouldn’t install on my PC, and I had to go off and download drivers independently. Plus it uses MS Mobile to interface, rather than a direct connection, which means I had to install that piece of shit too. It’s really slow transferring stuff, and the software is total gobbledygook. It won’t connect with my iPhone either via BlueTooth.

Serves me right for buying French hi-tech. It’s seriously bad - I didn’t think people made technology that sucky these days. Never, ever buy a ViaMichelin 980T!

A dress. It wasn’t expensive, but I still kick myself. I loved it in the store and still think it looks smashing on me, but it’s just too damn short. I wore it only once and I was very uncomfortable all day trying to make sure my butt was covered, and wondering if people were laughing at the old lady in the young clothes.

It sounds like your dress needs a six inch fringe around the bottom! Yeah, that’s the ticket!

(I actually really like fringes.)

The Hangover on Blu-ray is the most recent. I heard how it was so funny that it was a must buy. I laughed, but it wasn’t as great as everyone acted. Now I’m going to hold off on Disctrict 9, The Hurt Locker, and Moon because of that, even though I haven’t seen them and hear they are also good.

I regret thinking that I would have a paid off 2003 Mustang GT right now had I not traded it for a 2007 Mustang GT. I don’t ride that motorcycle often either…
