We’re talking about someone who is prepared to drive 2,000 miles in order to dump a busload of men women and children on a random roadside in the middle of the night knowing that they have no food, no water, and nowhere to go. Arresting them is not “dirty”, it’s the right thing to do.
I’d like to see a Super Bowls add bragging about how much more “true Christian” the organizations that deals migrants once they are dropped off in Chicago are vs the Bible Believing God Fearing Christian Fundamentalists Texans that put them on the bus… maybe use the “arms of an angel” song with juxtaposed bible verses about being kind to immigrants and images of kids in camps, dead bodies in the barbed wire floating fences in the river, cold confused people getting off buses in the middle of the night. Let’s go full “bad dog rubbing noses on carpet pee stains” on these dirty degenerate republicans.

Bizarre e-mail from the Texas state medical board today.
Based on a bill passed by the Texas legislature recently, the medical board has decided that all licensed physicians have to be fingerprinted at their expense so the prints can be entered into an F.B.I. database and used to notify the medical board of criminal offenses committed anywhere in the country (the only exceptions are docs who’ve been fingerprinted since 2018).
I could give a 
since this doesn’t apply to me (I decided not to renew my Texas license several years ago, but they still send me e-mails). Weirdly, I distinctly remember having to be fingerprinted when I initially applied for the license long ago (no other state I’ve ever been licensed in required fingerprinting). Did Texas manage to lose all those prints in their system and thus needs a new set from everybody now?
*Fun fact: Texas docs apparently can commit misdemeanors without fear of jeopardizing their medical licenses unless the offense involves “moral turpitude”.

Clearly the inmates running the asylum in Texas don’t trust doctors. Wow, beating up on the people who treat diseases and might be able to save your life in the event of an accident sounds really stupid to me, but then, I’m not a big, powerful politician from Texas as what do I know?

And when they were slavers, they obviously complained about the enslaved being reluctant and unhappy with their place.

My understanding is that all of these walls, bundles of razor wire, and what not are on the US side of the border and not in anyway in Mexico so… probably would be used as an excuse for an international incident.
