Remember me?

Yes…the grief-stricken former cat owner who’s kitty ran off some two weeks ago…
Well, just as I expected, (despite your compassionate and sweet words of empathy) she hasn’t returned.
Poof. Just like that.

We’re convinced someone’s detaining her, but anyway. I’d prefer not to think about that. :frowning:
As long as she’s safe and healthy, that’s all that really matters.

Now…
My mother comes around today telling me she no longer wants to adopt a cat but rather something she referred to as a “pocket dog”.
So, i’m like: pocket dog…pocket dog…sounds like some kind of plush toy for babies. So, I googled it. No help. All that turned up were playstation games and things of the like.
I’m convinced she’s using the wrong term. Where can I find info on these “pocket dogs” she speaks of?
Apparently, they’re the breed that never grows. They’re super tiny (from what she described) and they fit in the palm of your hand.

Can anyone give me more info on these? Have you ever heard of them? Do you have any pictures of what they actually look like?
Do they even exist?

If so, would anyone know where we can find some in the Montreal area?

Any suggestions, ideas and comments would be appreciated.

Merci!

Teacup Chihuahuas?

I’ve heard it referring to a breed of small dog. A friend of mine at the university even calls mine a variation of that, a “pocket-pug” because she is part pug and has the look (wrinkly face and all) but slightly smaller than most pugs…

Could be any toy breed/small dog really though…

:smack:

Of course, I should also read the whole OP before talking about my puppy. She’s not nearly that small, but I imagine there are a couple other breeds so small they could fit in the palm of some person’s hand…
