Remind me how to enjoy life?

<dirty thought mercifully omitted>

Actually, I was talking about KKB’s Twinkie.

[sub]Jeez, I think I just made things worse.[/sub]

One sure fire way for me is to think back on all the good times in your life. (there must be thousands) My dad died August 27th 2001, and it hurt like hell. (still does) All i think about is how we used to talk books and movies. He was a truly great man. Now I have 30 or so years of memmories that make me feel better. If your parents are still around, call them. They know how to to put it all in perspective. Good luck friend…

Laugh. That is the secret. At first you might have to force yourself to laugh, but with time you will remember how.

Put a smile on your face
and a song in your heart
and fake it if you have to.

You know, listening to the classic blues records always pulls me through. Sure, a lot of the blues is real sad about my baby feeding me red devil lye and leaving me, but then the next song will be a triumphant one.

Listen to Jimmy Reed singing Big Boss Man or Parchment Farm, and you’ll realize that some people have it a whole lot worse so get over it.

Lieu – my wife and I were lucky enough to both see China Bambina stand up by herself of the first time. Man, it was great. You’ve got to be a robot not to enjoy a toddler (provided of course they have a) a clean diaper b) been fed c) are not tired and cranky). On the other hand, if you’re down and the toddler is in Godzilla on the warpath, then you probably should run away.
