It appeared to me as “Think about a person, and poof, you’ll be where he is.” He was looking at a picture of Jordan, and then arrived on the City hall steps, where Jordan was speaking.

Liked it, been very impressed with the writers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a “dare jar” in the writers’ room that people put the craziest, most messed up plot twists in, and they draw them out and people have to write stories around them. “Diana dumps Marco and gets engaged,” or “Tom turns evil,” or “Summer Glau is in love with that guy from The Frighteners.”

My twisted thought on Kyle’s ability: what if Cassie isn’t about creating heaven on earth and what not, but is dedicated to engineering Kyle’s ascent to power? But for some pretty touch-and-go heroics, Kyle would have been in charge of the group that took over Seattle. And as it is, he is second in command.

Bwuh? You sure about that? It seemed to me that he was looking at aerial images of Promise City, and then found himself there.

He wasn’t looking at a picture of Jordan, and he didn’t arrive on the City Hall steps. He was looking at a picture of Promise City which had one of Jordans’ giant ego picture banners in the background. As Hal Briston noted, he arrived in Promise City… in front of the Jordan’s giant ego picture banner.
