In the ren and stimpy song “happy, happy. Joy, joy” there’s a line “ I’ll teach your grandmother to suck eggs.” Now I remember somewhere reading this same line in an old poem when I was in high school. Does anyone know the poem? I know it’s a old saying, but the poem i’m talking about is OLD. Please tell me i’m not crazy.

I don’t know about an old poem, but I found a reference to this in The Hobbit. In the Bilbo & Gollum riddles chapter, Gollum remembers from long ago when he lived on a river bank and taught his grandmother to suck eggs.
John Kricfalusci (sp?) rocks. The sad thing is, Nicolodeon screwed him royally. Right after the time, lemme see, I suppose it was after “rubber nipple salesmen” they got rid of him for being too controversial - only they had the rights to the show. So they kept producing them. You can tell which ones are Nic’s and which ones are Kric’s.
(Nic’s aren’t as raunchy, aren’t funny, and the animation is more studio)
