Ren & Stimpy - Robin Hoek: Classical music used?

I’ve always wondered what the name of the music they used in the old Ren & Stimpy episode Robin Hoek. It’s here at about 6:02. Anyone recognize it?

Sorry, I don’t recognize it. It sounds like the kind of thing that might have come from an opera overture.

Johann Strauss: Tritsch-Tratsch Polka

That’s bugged me for years!

So glad this thread came up. I’ve always heard this other piece of music in several movies and such. I’ve been trying to find the name of this piece for years.
It’s in this classic Ren & stimpy clip “Space Madness” at the 9:19 mark.

They always play this music whenever tension is building in a movie scene. I hear it all over the place, but have no idea what the name of it is.
Thanks to the OP for reminding me of this.

“Night on Bald (or Bare) Mountain,” by Mussorgsky.

Thank you! I love the Straight Dope.

…which was featured quite prominently in the original Fantasia.
