I considered RZ a questionable choice until I heard the Melissa Etheridge mention. THAT has to be a joke!
Renee might can nail the acting with a good script but please God don’t let her do the singing! I’m really afraid that’s what’s going to happen. <shudder>
Admittedly, I never saw her alive - nor that much footage of her. I just don’t remember Janis Joplin squinting and pouting 90% of the time.
I can’t imagine this working well at all.
Courtney Love is a good choice - What all she has to do is go back to her Seattle Grunge Look, and become a Boozing, Addicted Rock Whore.
You know, Intaglio, I actually think that’s a really good choice. She was good in Larry Flynt, and she doesn’t look like a dormouse.
