We have lots of cherry cabinets, all 20 years old that need to be renewed. Their current stain is a light whitewash. This stain has been entirely removed by wear in small scattered high use/high moisture areas. Is there anyway to renew the stain without sanding everything down to bare wood? These seem way to nice to trash, but refreshing their look seems even more daunting. Any help would be appreciated.
