Oooh, it looks sleek and sexy. But where does that keypad go when you want the whoel screen? Does it fold down behind the unit? And in that case, isn’t the QWERTY side of the keypad now facing outside to the elements? Or is there a second folding flap to cover it up? THAT would be hot.
I still want a Motorola Razr, in black…but they don’t make it for Verizon systems yet, AFAIK.
The keypad goes to a position roughly 150degrees to the phone. What would be the sense in making it fold all the way round?
The one advantage my samsung had over this phone is that it had two screens (one traditional lcd and one colour lcd) that meant I could see instantly if someone had rang or sent me a message (by looking at the clear-to-see screen atop the phone). This new phone unlights the display so I have to move it around or press something in bad light to see if anything interesting happened while I was away.
Oh and the fact that it’s one of those auto-lock phones. The thing I liked about the samsung (and flip-lid phones in general) was the fact that no buttons could be accidentally pressed so no need for the phone to be locked.
oh human nature… it encounters a thing of beauty and it’s overriding instinct is to find faults.
