Replica Ship in Chicago

IN the summer of 1981, I was driving along the lakefront, and noticed a sailing ship near Navy Pier. She was red and gold, looked like a carrack. I seem to recall reading at the time that she was a replica of a 17th century Dutch merchantman. But now I can’t find anything about it. I think she was called the Red Lion, and had been built by a United Airlines exec. Does anyone remember this ship?
